Do you offer engagement packages?

Absolutely! If I will be capturing your wedding, I recommend including an engagement session so we can get to know each other before your wedding day and allow me to capture laid-back, casual images that you can use for your save-the-dates!

When will we receive photos?

Full size edited photos are delivered within 4-6 weeks via an online private gallery, sometimes sooner.  It all depends how busy that time of year is.

Do your packages include prints?

Packages include full size downloadable files that you can then choose to print through us via your gallery or on your own at a local lab – up to you!

Do we meet with you before our big day?

I’d love to meet all of my clients ahead of time but it’s not always possible for one reason or another.  Of course, if you’ve booked an engagement session, we’ll pow wow then! If not, Facetime or Skype allows us to connect when it’s convenient for you.

How many photographers will be present?

Depends.  My base package is me alone and I offer options to include a second shooter with every package.

Can we share our photos with guests?

For sure!  Images are delivered via a snazzy easy to use private online gallery.  Sharing is easy breezy and up to you.

How many photos do we get?

You’ll receive 500-1000 photos depending if there was one photographer or two.

Do you have preferred locations?

Oh – do I! Location is ultimately up to you within the area but I have a bunch of suggested locales depending on the vibe you’re wanting.  From iconic Center City to the beauty of the Wissahickon or a more urban backdrop with murals in Northern Liberties or Fishtown – we can discuss and decide together for whatever works best!

What should we wear for a family session?

Think fun and comfortable.  Dress up a bit more than you normally would.  Don’t think of it as a formal photo shoot, but more of a laid-back candid session meant to be a slice of your family looking good and having fun together.  Usually, exactly matching colors doesn’t seem to capture the right vibe but it’s good to be mindful of how your outfits work together.  Bright colors or patterns work well, contrast is good and an occasional meaningful prop such as a quilt can add style.

How long is a session?

A family session lasts up to an hour and a newborn session can last up to 2.  Mini sessions are 15-20 minutes together at a specified location.

How does booking work?

For all standard sessions, a non-refundable $200 deposit is required upon booking.  PayPal, Venmo or check is accepted.  Remainder of payment is due by session date.  Upon booking, we’ll touch base and discuss requests, wardrobe, location and info about your fam.

How many photos do we get?

I deliver 20+ images in a gallery for full family sessions.  I say (+) because if I feel there’s more than 20 that you’d like (even if they’re not destined to hang on the wall),  I include them.  For mini sessions, it varies per event with an option to additionally purchase full gallery.

What if I need to change my scheduled date?

We will work it out to find another date that works for both of us at no additional fee.  Depending on time of year, it may book out a bit but I’ll do my best to accommodate.  *Mini sessions are the exception as they are specified dates with reserved time slots.  If a reschedule is needed for a mini session, you can apply deposit toward the next mini session date with open availability. *

When is the best time of day for a shoot?

Early mornings or evenings when the sun is lower in the sky for softer shadows and that oh so sweet directional sunlight.  I’ll often meet families in the evenings during the week and either morning or evening for weekend sessions.

Are prints included in your packages?

All packages include full resolution edited digital files delivered within a private gallery.  You can download images to print through a local lab of your choice or purchase directly through your online gallery – you choose!

When do we receive photos?

Family photos are delivered within 2 weeks via an online private gallery.
